Mexico Bass Fishing - Famous for Its Beautiful LakesWhile a good amount of the black bass fishing in the United States is limited to saltwater ocean areas, some of the best Mexico bass fishing spots are actually lakes, which are quite beautiful. Some of these lakes are rife with a number of different largemouth and smallmouth bass. Currently, the most popular Mexico bass fishing lake is Lake El Salto, which is less than 50 miles away from a robust resort town. According to those who maintain the Lake El Salto area, as many as 85% of bass anglers report their biggest lifetime catch at this lake, since it is chock full of trophy-size bass. Additionally, bass fishing authorities, including Worldwide Fishing Associations, claim that fish on this lake are highly aggressive and can be baited best by crankbaits and topwaters. The current price per person is $1,595.00 for four days of fishing and lodging. Another popular Mexico bass fishing destination is Lake Baccarac, which boasts a robust source of largemouth Bass. According to the WFA, Lake Baccarac is 25 miles long and 5 miles wide. Additionally, it is surrounded with beautiful scenery - from green mountain peaks to lush forests populated with birds and wildlife. While Baccarac is also filled with trophy bass, it is considerably cheaper to fish than the more popular Lake El Salto. If you're looking for a cheaper and quieter destination, this may be a better choice. Now, if you're looking for an even more affordable Mexico bass fishing location, you may want to check out Lake Guerrero. While this lake is also populated with high-stock largemouth bass, it is considerably cheaper. For four nights, you will only pay a fraction of the cost of higher-end Mexico bass fishing resorts - and could pay as little as $600 total.
