So you have been watching one of those hot new shows on TV like Rockstar or Miami Ink, and you think to yourself: “it’s about time I go out and get myself a tattoo – I’ve been thinking of designs for awhile and now I can safely say that I know what I want to get.” A couple of days later, you head over to your local tattoo shop and suddenly, the moment you walk through their doors, you decide that your particular tattoo design was not actually what you wanted after all. The number one rule is to never get anything on your body that is a passing trend – otherwise you will look like a complete idiot a few years down the road. Stick with themes, slogans and drawings that you will always enjoy or that you have a passion for – you will thank yourself down the road.
